OPEN STUDIOS WILL RETURN IN THE FUTURE AS WE NOW HAVE smART Gallery at 210 Queen St, Kinston, NC 28501 where the “smARTists” exhibit their work, give Artist Talks, Art Openings and Holiday Receptions. This is a chance to experience all of our smARTists creativity in one beautiful space…music, writing, painting, textiles, sculpture, stained glass, painted furniture and glassware and much more.

Open Studios

SmARTists open their studios to the public once a quarter. A map and directory of artists studios is available at www.kinstonarts.com. You can tell which studios are open by the blue yard signs.

Studios are located primarily in the Arts & Cultural District, a short walking distance from downtown Kinston. There are also a couple of studios downtown.

We have other art friends around the area too! Art105 is an artist cooperative studio/gallery space at 105 West Blount Street. The Kinston Community Council for the Arts is just around the corner from Art105, located at 400 North Queen Street. Make a day of it!
